Getting There

Car
From Shandur Top, start your journey by driving south on the main road. Continue straight for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach the town of Morder. Look for signs that direct you to Golook Top. Once you arrive in Morder, turn left onto the road marked for Golook Top, which is a dirt road. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the Golook Top Morder area. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as the last part of the journey involves an unpaved road. Parking is available at the site.

Public Transportation
From Shandur Top, take a local bus or hire a jeep to Morder. Buses operate regularly; however, it is advisable to check the local schedule as it can vary. The fare to Morder is typically around 200 PKR. Upon arriving in Morder, you may need to negotiate a local taxi or jeep to take you to Golook Top. Expect to pay approximately 500 PKR for the taxi ride, which will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to arrange for the driver to return for your pickup at a designated time.

For the adventurous traveler, you can hike from Shandur Top to Golook Top. This will require a good level of fitness and proper gear. Start your hike heading south from Shandur Top, following the ridge leading down towards Morder. The distance is roughly 18 kilometers and will take around 5-6 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to carry sufficient water and food, and it is advisable to have a local guide for navigation.
