If you are in Skardu city center, start by heading towards the main road (Skardu-Kachura Road). Walk along this road for about 20-30 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Kachura. Continue straight, following the signs for Satpara Lake. After about 15 minutes, you will see the entrance to Satpara Lake on your right. Follow the path that leads to the lake.

From Skardu city center, make your way to the local bus terminal. Look for a bus heading towards Kachura. The buses are typically available throughout the day. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you wish to get off at Satpara Lake. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. After getting off, follow the path that leads to the lake, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

You can also hire a rickshaw from the city center to Satpara Lake. Simply ask a rickshaw driver to take you to Satpara Lake, and they will know the location. The ride will take around 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you off at the entrance of the lake, from where you can easily walk to the water's edge.
