Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Skardu city center, head southwest towards the main road (Kachura Road). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction at the end of the road. Here, you will see a sign for Hassan Colony. Turn left onto the road leading to Hassan Colony. Keep walking for another 1 kilometer, and you will find Shalimar Park located on your right-hand side. The park is situated in a residential area, so keep an eye out for the entrance.

Bicycle
From Skardu city center, rent a bicycle and head towards Kachura Road. Cycle southwest for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction. At the junction, turn left onto the Hassan Colony road. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Shalimar Park on your right. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes.

Public Transport
Take a local bus or shared van from the Skardu central bus station heading towards Kachura. Inform the driver that you want to stop at Hassan Colony. The bus will take you close to the entrance of Hassan Colony. Once you get off, walk about 500 meters along the road into Hassan Colony, and you will find Shalimar Park on your left.

Rickshaw
Hire a rickshaw from any point in Skardu city and request to go to Hassan Colony. The rickshaw driver will navigate through the streets. It will take approximately 10 minutes to reach the park. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they know Shalimar Park, as it is a known landmark.
