From the main bazaar in Skardu, head south towards the Kachura Road. You will walk along the main road for approximately 2 kilometers. As you walk, you will pass by local shops and eateries. After about 20 minutes, you will reach the turn-off for Kachura Lake. Continue along this road for another 10-15 minutes until you see signs for Upper Kachura Lake. The lake is about 5 kilometers from the main road.
