Getting There

Walking
From the main Skardu bazaar, head towards the Skardu Airport Road. Walk straight until you reach the intersection at the Skardu Old Jail. At the junction, turn left onto the Roundu Road. Continue walking for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the Talu Broq Valley entrance. The Talu Broq Forest Park is located deeper within the valley, approximately 2 kilometers from the entrance, so follow the path that leads into the forested area.

Motorbike Hire
If you prefer a faster option, you can hire a motorbike from any rental shop in Skardu. Start your journey from the Skardu bazaar and take the Skardu Airport Road. After about 5 kilometers, look for the Roundu Road and take a left turn. Continue on this road for another 5 kilometers until you reach the Talu Broq Valley entrance. Park your motorbike, and walk about 2 kilometers into the valley to reach Talu Broq Forest Park.

Local Transport
Ask around in Skardu for local jeep services that operate to Roundu. You can find these jeeps near the Skardu bus station or the main bazaar. Board a jeep heading towards Roundu, and inform the driver that you want to visit Talu Broq Forest Park. The jeep ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the Talu Broq Valley entrance, you will have to walk approximately 2 kilometers into the valley to find the park.
