Getting There

Walking
From the center of Skardu, head towards the main bazaar area. Walk past the Skardu Fort, which will be on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction where you will see a signboard directing you to the White Palace. Take a right turn at this junction. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the White Palace. The camping site is located near the palace grounds.

Bicycle
If you’re renting a bicycle in Skardu, start from the main bazaar and cycle towards the Skardu Fort. Once you pass the fort, keep cycling straight until you reach the junction with the sign for White Palace. At this point, turn right and continue for roughly 2 kilometers. You will see the entrance to the White Palace, and the camping site is nearby.

Hiking
For a more adventurous route, you can hike from the Skardu city center. Begin your hike by heading towards the Skardu Fort. From there, take the trail leading up the hillside that eventually connects to the road toward the White Palace. Follow the trail down to the junction and turn right where the sign for White Palace is located. Continue hiking along this road until you arrive at the entrance to the White Palace, where the camping site awaits.
