Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Skardu city center, head east on the main road towards Skardu Fort. Walk for about 15-20 minutes. As you approach Skardu Fort, you'll see signs directing you towards Shigar Valley. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction where you can see the Shigar Road sign. Take a left onto Shigar Road and walk for another 10-15 minutes. You will see a trail leading uphill to your left. Follow this trail, and after a short uphill hike of about 10 minutes, you will arrive at Skardu Ki View.

Bicycle
From the Skardu city center, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Start by cycling east towards Skardu Fort on the main road. This should take about 10 minutes. Once you reach the fort, continue cycling straight towards the Shigar Valley junction. After around 5 minutes, turn left onto Shigar Road. Cycle for about 15 minutes until you see a trail leading uphill on your left. Park your bicycle here and walk up the trail for about 10 minutes to reach Skardu Ki View.

Local Transport (Rickshaw)
From your location in Skardu, find a local rickshaw stand. Tell the driver you want to go to Skardu Fort. This ride should take around 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Skardu Fort, ask the driver to take you to the Shigar Valley junction. After reaching there, the driver can drop you off. From the junction, you will need to walk for about 10-15 minutes along Shigar Road until you see a trail leading uphill to your left. Follow that trail for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at Skardu Ki View.
