Turn left onto Gulkada Road and continue walking for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass through Gulkada village. Keep an eye out for local signboards that may direct you toward Butkara I. As you approach the area, look for the Q989+75R marker on your right, which indicates the location of Butkara I.

From the Mingora main bazaar, find a rickshaw stand. Take a rickshaw heading towards Gulkada; the fare is usually around 50-100 PKR. Ask the driver to drop you off at Butkara I or give them the address (Q989+75R, Gul Kada, Gulkada Mingora). The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive, you may need to walk a short distance to the actual site, which is well-marked.
