Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Kayangel Island, head towards the main road that runs along the coast. Drive in the direction of Airai, keeping an eye out for the signs directing you to popular tourist attractions. Approximately 30 minutes into your drive, you will see a sign for Secret Lagoon on your right. Turn onto the unpaved road that leads to the lagoon. Please note that the road may be rough, so proceed with caution. There is no parking fee, but be mindful of local regulations.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from Kayangel Island to Airai. Buses run daily and can be found at the main bus terminal. Upon arrival in Airai, ask the driver or locals for directions to Secret Lagoon, as they will be familiar with the area. After getting off the bus, you can either walk the remaining distance (about 15 minutes) or hire a local taxi, which should cost around $5 to $10 depending on your negotiation skills. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.

  For the adventurous, if you are already in the vicinity of Secret Lagoon, you can opt to walk. From any central point in Airai, head towards the coast and follow the main pathways leading south. Keep an eye out for the lagoon's distinctive features like lush greenery and water. It should take about 20-30 minutes to reach Secret Lagoon on foot. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the walk can be quite warm.
