Car
If you have access to a car, start your journey from anywhere in Kayangel Island. Drive towards the Kayangel Island ferry terminal located at the southeastern tip of the island. The ferry departs regularly to Koror, which is the main island of Palau. Ensure you check the ferry schedule in advance since it might vary. The ferry ride lasts approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Koror ferry terminal, you will need to drive towards Nikko Bay, which is located at 8FPV+CM, Koror. From the ferry terminal, head west on Route 1 for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 4. Turn right onto Route 4 and continue for another 10 minutes until you see signs for Nikko Bay.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, start at your accommodation in Kayangel Island and make your way to the ferry terminal. Purchase a ferry ticket to Koror, which is generally affordable (around $10-$15 per person). After arriving at the Koror ferry terminal, you can either take a taxi or use a local bus service. Taxis are available and will take you directly to Nikko Bay for approximately $20-$25. Alternatively, if you choose the bus, look for the one heading towards the west side of Koror and ask the driver to drop you near Nikko Bay. Be sure to confirm the bus fare with the driver; it typically costs between $2-$5.
