Car
If you are traveling by car in Peleliu, start from the main road that circles the island. Head southeast towards the southern tip of the island. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection near the Peleliu Airstrip. Take a left at the intersection onto the Unnamed Road. Continue driving for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you see the entrance to Ngerereuall on your right. There is no parking fee, and you can park along the roadside.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options in Peleliu are limited. However, you can look for local shared taxis, commonly referred to as 'bush taxis.' To reach Ngerereuall, ask the driver to take you to the southern part of the island, specifically near the Peleliu Airstrip. Once you arrive at the intersection near the airstrip, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers down the Unnamed Road to reach Ngerereuall. Ensure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. Fares may vary but typically cost around $5 to $10 per person.
Walking
If you are staying nearby in Peleliu and prefer a more adventurous route, you can walk to Ngerereuall. Start from your accommodation and head towards the main road. Walk southeast along the road until you reach the intersection near the Peleliu Airstrip. From there, take a left onto the Unnamed Road and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will find Ngerereuall on your right. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially in the warm climate.
