Car
From Panama City, take the Pan-American Highway west towards Santiago. Continue on the highway until you reach the town of Boquete. From Boquete, follow signs to Volcán. Once in Volcán, follow signs to the entrance of Sendero Los Quetzales. The road to the trailhead may be unpaved, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.
Public Transportation
From Panama City, take a bus to David. From David, transfer to a bus heading to Volcán. Once in Volcán, you can either walk or take a taxi to the entrance of Sendero Los Quetzales. Be prepared for a longer travel time compared to driving.
