Getting There

    From the center of Boquete, head to the main bus terminal located on Avenida Principal. Look for a bus heading towards Palmira; these buses are frequent and usually display their destination on the front. The bus ride to Palmira will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Palmira, ask the driver to let you off near the entrance to Jungla de Panama Wildlife Refuge.

    After getting off the bus in Palmira, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the refuge. Head southeast on the main road (Calle Principal) from the bus stop. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road, then take the left fork onto Calle Palmira. Follow this road until you see a sign for Jungla de Panama Wildlife Refuge. The entrance will be on your right.

  • Taxi
