Walking
If you're in the center of Chitre, start at the Parque de la Independencia. Head south on Calle 1ra until you reach the intersection with Avenida Manuel L. de la Fuente. Turn left onto Avenida Manuel L. de la Fuente and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the large sign indicating Plaza Doña Rosa on your right.
Public Transport (Bus)
Find the nearest bus stop on Avenida Manuel L. de la Fuente. Look for a bus heading towards 'Plaza' or 'Centro'. Once you board, pay the fare (usually around $0.25). Stay on the bus for about 5-7 minutes. The bus will stop near Plaza Doña Rosa. Once you get off, walk a short distance to the square, which is located just a block away.
Taxi (shared or individual)
If you prefer a quicker option, find a taxi or a shared taxi (also known as 'colectivo') from your location. Simply tell the driver 'Plaza Doña Rosa'. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic and will cost around $1-2. The driver will drop you off directly at the plaza.
