Getting There

Start in the center of Goroka at the Goroka Market. Head east on the main road, which is known as the Bena Bena Road. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction at the Goroka Lodge. At this junction, turn left onto the road that leads towards the Highlands Highway. Stay on this road for about 2 kilometers, passing by several local shops and residential areas. Look for signs directing you towards Mt. Kiss. As you approach the area, you will notice a sign indicating the entrance to Mt. Kiss Park. Follow this road until it leads you directly to the base of Mt. Kiss.

From the Goroka Market, rent a bicycle from one of the local vendors. Ride east along the Bena Bena Road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Goroka Lodge junction. Turn left onto the road toward the Highlands Highway and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signage indicating Mt. Kiss Park. Once you see the signs, follow the road that leads to the park entrance, which will take you directly to the base of Mt. Kiss.
