Walking
From the Goroka Post Office, head southeast on Treetops Drive toward the Goroka Town Market. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with the Highlands Highway. Turn right onto the highway and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the signage that leads towards National Day Park. The entrance to the park is located on your left after you see the National Museum of Papua New Guinea.

Bicycle
Starting from the Goroka Town Market, rent a bicycle from one of the local vendors. Cycle along the roadside toward the Highlands Highway. When you reach the highway, turn right and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. You will enjoy the scenic views along the way. Look for the entrance to National Day Park on your left, just after passing the National Museum of Papua New Guinea.
