Start at the Kimbe Market, which is located in the center of Kimbe. From the market, head northwest on the main road (New Britain Highway) towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach the junction for the Bialla Road. Turn left onto Bialla Road and continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass through several small villages, so be sure to ask locals for directions if you're unsure. After roughly 10 kilometers, look for signs indicating the direction to Patanga Waterfall. Follow the signs, which will lead you onto a smaller path. Continue on this path for about 1 kilometer until you reach the waterfall.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kimbe. Start at the Kimbe Market and head northwest along the New Britain Highway. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach the Bialla Road junction. Turn left onto Bialla Road and continue for another 10 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Patanga Waterfall. Once you see the signs, take the smaller path that leads to the waterfall. The total distance is about 16 kilometers, and be prepared for some rough terrain near the waterfall.
