If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Port Moresby. Drive east on the Magi Highway (also known as the Hiritano Highway) towards Sogeri. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach Sogeri, look for the signs directing you to Whitestone Lookout. You will need to turn onto a dirt road that leads towards the lookout, which is approximately 15 minutes from the main road. Make sure your vehicle has good clearance as the road may be rough in some areas.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Port Moresby to Sogeri. Buses to Sogeri leave from the main bus terminal in Port Moresby. The fare is usually affordable, around PGK 20-30. Once you arrive in Sogeri, you can hire a local taxi or arrange for a motorbike taxi to take you to Whitestone Lookout. The taxi ride will cost approximately PGK 30-50 and will take about 15 minutes.
