If you are using a car, start from Madang town and head east on the main road towards Ohu village. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the junction for Amele word 19. Take a left turn at this junction and continue for another 5 kilometers. Look for the signs leading to Larry Butterfly Conservation Reserve on your right. There may be a small entrance fee, so be prepared to pay a nominal amount for parking.

For those using public transport, take a bus from Madang town heading towards Ohu village. Inform the driver that you are going to Larry Butterfly Conservation Reserve. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Ohu village, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the reserve; look for local signage or ask locals for directions to the reserve. Be sure to have some cash ready for the entrance fee.
