If you are driving from Wewak, take the Highway from Wewak to Vanimo. The distance is approximately 120 kilometers and will take about 3 hours. The road conditions may vary, so be cautious, especially during the rainy season. Follow the signs to Vanimo, and you will arrive at 8872+GPH, Vanimo, Sandaun Province.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Wewak, you can catch a bus to Vanimo. Buses leave regularly from the bus station in Wewak. The journey takes around 3 to 4 hours, depending on road conditions. Expect to pay around 20-30 PGK for the fare. Ensure you confirm the bus schedule ahead of time as it may vary.
Motorbike Hire
For a more adventurous route, consider hiring a motorbike in Wewak. The ride to Vanimo can be thrilling but requires experience. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow all safety regulations.
