Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Cerro Corá National Park, head south on the main park road. This will lead you through the scenic areas of the park. Follow the signs towards 'Cerro Corá' for approximately 10 kilometers. The road is well maintained, and you will pass several lookout points along the way. Once you reach the designated parking area near Cerro Corá, you can park your car and begin your hike to the peak.

Public Transportation
Take a local bus from Asunción to the nearest town, which is located about 20 kilometers from the park entrance. Once you arrive at the town, you can hire a taxi or a local motorcycle taxi (known as 'moto-taxi') to take you to the park entrance. The fare for the taxi should be around 30,000 PYG (Paraguayan Guarani). Upon reaching the park entrance, proceed on foot along the main road leading into the park towards Cerro Corá. The hike will take approximately 1-2 hours depending on your pace.

If you're already within the park and are at a nearby camping area or hiking trail, you can follow the marked trails towards Cerro Corá. There are several trails, but the most direct route is to follow the signs that point to 'Cerro Corá Peak.' The hike can take around 1-2 hours depending on your fitness level.
