Getting There

• Walking

  From the central plaza of Areguá, head south on Calle 14 de Mayo. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida Sargento Silva. Turn left onto Avenida Sargento Silva and proceed for approximately 800 meters. You will pass several small shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye on the street signs. After crossing the intersection with Calle Esteban Cabañas, continue straight for another 400 meters. You will see a sign pointing towards 'Cerro Kõi Y Chororî.' Follow this path, which will lead you up to the monument. The hike will take about 30 minutes from this point.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the main bus terminal in Areguá, take the local bus heading towards 'Cerro Kõi Y Chororî.' The bus will have a sign in the front indicating the destination. The ride is approximately 10-15 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at the closest stop to the monument, which is typically near the entrance to the hiking trail. From here, walk for about 15 minutes on the marked path to reach Cueva, Monumento Cerro Kõi Y Chororî.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Areguá. Start at the main square and head south on Calle 14 de Mayo. Continue straight until you reach Avenida Sargento Silva. Turn left and ride for about 800 meters. After passing Calle Esteban Cabañas, look for the sign directing you to 'Cerro Kõi Y Chororî.' Follow the path leading up to the monument. The bike ride may take around 20 minutes, and the trail will be a moderate climb.
