Walking
From the central plaza in Ypacarai, head south on Calle Palma. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida San Juan. Turn left onto Avenida San Juan and keep walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass local shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on Avenida San Juan, which will lead you directly toward Areguá. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will notice signs directing you toward Playa De Aregua. Follow the signs, and in about 15-20 minutes, you will arrive at the entrance of Playa De Aregua.
Public Transport
From the main bus terminal in Ypacarai, take a bus heading to Areguá. Buses frequently depart throughout the day. Ensure you tell the driver your destination as they can help you with the stop. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Areguá, disembark at the stop closest to the lake. From there, you can walk toward the lakefront area, and Playa De Aregua will be a short 10-minute walk away, following the lakeside path.
