Starting from the center of Ypacarai, head towards the main road, Avenida José Asunción Flores. Walk towards the direction of the lake. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach a bus stop near the lake. Here, you can catch a bus heading to Areguá. Make sure to ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach Areguá, which should take about 15-20 minutes.

Once you arrive in Areguá, disembark the bus and head towards Ruta Areguá. You should see a sign for Cerro Kõi nearby. Walk along Ruta Areguá for about 15 minutes. You will pass some local shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Cerro Kõi, which is marked clearly. The entire walk from the bus stop to the entrance should take around 15 minutes.
Hiking
Upon entering Cerro Kõi, you will find well-marked trails. The main trail leads you to the summit with several viewpoints along the way. It’s a moderate hike, so wear comfortable shoes and carry water. The hike to the top takes approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace.
