Walking
From the center of Hernandarias, head towards Avenida Carlos Antonio López and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Ponta Porã. Turn left onto Avenida Ponta Porã and continue walking until you come to the bus terminal. From there, take any bus heading to Foz do Iguaçu. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Parque Nacional Iguaçu. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the park entrance, follow the signs to Macuco Safari, which is located inside the park.

From your location in Hernandarias, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida Carlos Antonio López. Take a bus that heads to Foz do Iguaçu. You can check the bus schedules online or ask locals for the best route. Once you arrive in Foz do Iguaçu, get off at the stop for Parque Nacional Iguaçu. After disembarking, follow the signs leading to Macuco Safari. The entrance to the park is about a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Hernandarias. Start your journey by cycling towards the main road, Avenida Carlos Antonio López, and navigate towards Foz do Iguaçu. Follow the cycling paths or lanes that lead towards the border. Be cautious as some roads may have traffic. Upon reaching Foz do Iguaçu, look for signs that direct you to Parque Nacional Iguaçu. The ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once at the park entrance, look for Macuco Safari signs to guide you inside.
