Getting There

Walking
Start at the central plaza of Hernandarias, known as Plaza San José. From the plaza, head east on Avenida General Bernardino Caballero. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Calle 7 de Septiembre. Turn left onto Calle 7 de Septiembre and continue walking for another 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance of Tatí Yupí Refuge on your right. The entrance is marked and should be visible from the road.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, begin at the central plaza of Hernandarias. Cycle east along Avenida General Bernardino Caballero, which has a bike lane. Continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Calle 7 de Septiembre. Turn left and cycle for 1 kilometer. The entrance to Tatí Yupí Refuge will be on your right. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed.

Public Transport
To reach Tatí Yupí Refuge using public transportation, start at the central bus station in Hernandarias. Board a local bus heading towards Ciudad del Este. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Tatí Yupí Refuge, which is approximately 10 minutes away. After getting off, walk about 200 meters back towards the entrance of the refuge, which will be on your left side.
