Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Asunción, the capital of Paraguay. Take Route 1 (Ruta Transchaco) heading towards the south. After approximately 15 km, merge onto Route 2 (Ruta 2) towards Areguá. Continue on Route 2 for around 25 km until you reach the Areguá area. Look for signs to 'Cerro Kõi' as you approach Areguá. Once you are in Areguá, follow the signs to 'Ruta Aregua' which will lead you directly to Cerro Kõi. There is no entrance fee for accessing the park.

To reach Cerro Kõi via public transportation, start at the Asunción Terminal de Ómnibus. Look for buses heading to Areguá; these are frequent and should cost around 10,000 to 15,000 PYG (Paraguayan Guarani). The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Areguá, you can either walk (which takes about 30 minutes) or take a local taxi for approximately 20,000 PYG to the entrance of Cerro Kõi on Ruta Aregua.

The cost will typically range from 100,000 to 150,000 PYG depending on traffic and your exact pick-up point. The drive should take about 30-40 minutes.
