Breathtaking Views at Mirador del Cerro Akati

Getting There

• Walking

  Start at Plaza José Asunción Flores in the center of Villarrica. From the plaza, head northeast on Avenida España for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Calle 7 de Septiembre. Turn left onto Calle 7 de Septiembre and continue walking for approximately 800 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Calle Independencia and follow it for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Mirador del Cerro Akati. Continue straight until you reach C. Cerro Akati, where the entrance to the viewpoint is located.

• Taxi

  If you prefer not to walk, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Villarrica. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Mirador del Cerro Akati, located on C. Cerro Akati in Independencia. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to ask the driver for an approximate fare before starting your journey.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Villarrica. Start at Plaza José Asunción Flores and head northeast on Avenida España. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Calle 7 de Septiembre. Continue for approximately 800 meters, then take the roundabout's second exit onto Calle Independencia. Follow this road for around 1.5 kilometers, where you’ll see signs for Mirador del Cerro Akati. The total distance is about 3 kilometers, and it should take you around 15-20 minutes to bike there.
