Car
If you're traveling by car within Amish Country, head towards Philadelphia by taking Route 30 East. Follow the signs for Lancaster and merge onto US-222 N. Continue on US-222 N until you reach I-76 E. Take I-76 E towards Philadelphia. Once you reach Philadelphia, take Exit 39 for US-1 N toward Roosevelt Blvd. Merge onto Market St and follow it until you reach 700 Market St. The Declaration House will be on your right.

To reach Declaration House via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Lancaster to Philadelphia. The Red Rose Transit Authority operates buses that travel from Lancaster to the Trans-Bridge Lines terminal in Philadelphia. Once in Philadelphia, transfer to the SEPTA subway system. Take the Market-Frankford Line towards 69th Street Terminal, and get off at 5th Street/Independence Hall station. From there, it's a short walk to 700 Market St where Declaration House is located.
