Car
From any location in the Anthracite Coal Region, take Route 11 or Route 6 towards Scranton. Once you reach Scranton, follow signs for the I-81 N. Take exit 185 for US-11 N toward Old Forge. Continue on US-11 N for about 3 miles. Then, turn left onto Bald Mountain Rd. McDade Park will be on your right at 1 Bald Mountain Rd, Scranton, PA 18507. There is no parking fee at the park.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, check for local bus services that operate within the Anthracite Coal Region and Scranton. One option is to take a bus to the Scranton Transit Center.
