Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from your location in the Appalachian Mountains and use a GPS device or map application. Set your destination to Little Pine State Park, 4205 Little Pine Creek Rd, Waterville, PA 17776. If you are coming from the north, take US-15 South until you reach PA-414. Follow PA-414 East until you see signs for Little Pine State Park. If you're coming from the south, take US-15 North, then exit onto PA-144 North and follow the signs to Little Pine State Park. There is a parking fee of $5 per vehicle.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Williamsport, PA, which is the nearest major city. From Williamsport, you can take a taxi or a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to Little Pine State Park, which is approximately 30 miles away. Be sure to arrange for the taxi or rideshare in advance, as public transport options to the park itself are limited.

• Bicycle

  For adventurous travelers, consider biking to Little Pine State Park. There are several scenic routes in the Appalachian region. Make sure to plan your route ahead, as some roads may have limited shoulders. Bring plenty of water and snacks, as there may not be services available until you reach the park. Be aware of the distance depending on your starting point; from Williamsport, expect about a 30-mile ride, mostly on rural roads.
