Car
To reach Michaux State Forest from Bald Eagle State Park by car, start by taking the Park Road out of Bald Eagle State Park and merge onto PA-150 S. Continue on PA-150 S for approximately 15 miles until you reach the intersection with US-11 S in Lock Haven. Merge onto US-11 S and continue for about 20 miles. Take the exit for I-81 S toward Harrisburg and follow I-81 S for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 14 for PA-233 toward Fayetteville. Turn left onto PA-233 S and follow it for about 10 miles. Then turn right onto Lincoln Way E/US-30 W. Michaux State Forest will be on your right at 10099 Lincoln Way E, Fayetteville, PA 17222. The drive takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

From Bald Eagle State Park, the nearest public transportation option is to take a Greyhound bus from Lock Haven to Harrisburg. First, you would need to drive or arrange transportation to get to the Lock Haven Greyhound station (approximately 15 miles from the park). From Lock Haven, take a bus to Harrisburg. Once in Harrisburg, you will need to take a local bus or arrange for a taxi/rideshare to reach Michaux State Forest at 10099 Lincoln Way E, Fayetteville, PA 17222.
