Car
If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto PA-100 N from your starting location in Chester County. Continue on PA-100 N for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-30. Merge onto US-30 W towards Downingtown. After about 3 miles, take the exit for PA-282 N/Downingtown. Turn right onto PA-282 N and continue for about 2 miles. Then, turn left onto Park Rd. Marsh Creek State Park will be located on your right at 675 Park Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335. The drive should take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a train from your nearest station to the SEPTA Regional Rail Line. Depending on your location, you may need to transfer lines. Head towards the Downingtown station. Once you arrive at the Downingtown station, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Marsh Creek State Park (675 Park Rd, Downingtown, PA 19335), which is about a 10-minute drive away. Be prepared for taxi or rideshare costs, which can vary but typically range from $10 to $20.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and prefer cycling, check local bike paths leading to Downingtown. Once in Downingtown, make your way to Park Rd. Follow Park Rd directly to Marsh Creek State Park. Walking
If you are staying nearby in Downingtown, you can walk to Marsh Creek State Park. From downtown Downingtown, head northwest on E Lancaster Ave for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Park Rd. Turn left onto Park Rd, and continue for about 0.5 miles. The park entrance will be on your right. Walking may take around 30-40 minutes, so plan accordingly.
