Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Longwood Gardens from West Chester, start by heading south on PA-100 S. Continue on PA-100 S for about 7 miles. Then, take the exit for US-1 S toward Baltimore. Merge onto US-1 S and continue for approximately 5 miles. Take the exit towards PA-52 S, and then turn left onto PA-52 S. After about 2 miles, turn right onto Longwood Road. Longwood Gardens will be on your left at 1001 Longwood Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348.

• Car

  From Downingtown, begin your journey by heading east on US-30 E. After about 5 miles, take the exit for US-1 S toward Baltimore. Merge onto US-1 S and continue for approximately 5 miles. Then take the exit for PA-52 S, turning left at the end of the ramp. After approximately 2 miles, turn right onto Longwood Road. Longwood Gardens will be on your left at 1001 Longwood Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Longwood Gardens using public transportation, first take the SEPTA train from Philadelphia to West Chester station. Once you arrive at West Chester, transfer to the Krapf's Bus Line 204 which runs to Kennett Square. Get off at the stop closest to Longwood Gardens, which is on Longwood Road. The gardens are a short walk from the bus stop, located at 1001 Longwood Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348.

• Car

  From the Philadelphia International Airport, get onto I-95 S from Airport Access Rd. Follow I-95 S to I-476 N. Take exit 13 to merge onto I-76 W and then take the exit onto US-1 S toward Baltimore. Continue on US-1 S for about 10 miles, then take the exit for PA-52 S. Turn left onto PA-52 S, and after around 2 miles, turn right onto Longwood Road. Longwood Gardens will be on your left at 1001 Longwood Rd, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
