Walking
If you are starting from downtown Erie, head south on State Street towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with E 2nd Street. Turn right onto E 2nd Street and walk towards the bay. After a few blocks, you will see the entrance to the public dock area on your left. Follow the signs leading to the Public Dock.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the rental locations in downtown Erie. Start at the Erie Maritime Museum and head west on State Street. Turn left on W 6th Street and continue until you reach the bayfront. Follow the bike path along the waterfront, which will lead you directly to the Public Dock area.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the local bus service from the Erie Transportation Center. Board the bus that heads towards the waterfront. Once you reach the stop nearest to the bayfront, disembark and walk towards the water. Look for signs directing you to the Public Dock, which is a short walk away.
