Walking
If you are starting from the Erie Maritime Museum, head south on State Street towards the waterfront. Turn left onto East Front Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Bayfront Parkway. Cross the Bayfront Parkway carefully at the designated crosswalk. After crossing, continue straight, and you will see signs directing you to the Public Dock. The walk is approximately 15 minutes, covering around 0.7 miles.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer to use public transportation, check the schedule for the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority (EMTA) buses. Take the 'Bayfront' route bus from the nearest bus stop to your location in the Bayfront District. The ride should take about 10 minutes, and the fare is $1.50. Get off at the 'Bayfront Park' stop, then walk south towards the waterfront for about 5 minutes to reach the Public Dock.
