Getting There

Walking
Start from the Gettysburg National Cemetery at 97 Taneytown Rd, Gettysburg, PA. Head southeast on Taneytown Rd toward Baltimore St. Turn left onto Baltimore St and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Steinwehr Ave. Take a right onto Steinwehr Ave. Walk for another 0.3 miles until you reach the Adams County Visitor Center. From here, you can catch a shuttle service or arrange a ride to Mt Airy, MD. If you prefer to walk, continue along Steinwehr Ave to the nearest bus stop at the Gettysburg Transit Center on 1000 W High St, and take the bus towards Mt Airy. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and involves a transfer at the Westminster Transit Center.

From the Gettysburg Square, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the Gettysburg Transit Center (1000 W High St). Take the bus towards Westminster. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Westminster Transit Center. From there, transfer to the bus heading towards Mt Airy. The total travel time from Gettysburg to Mt Airy will be around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Mt Airy, walk approximately 0.5 miles to Black Ankle Vineyards located at 14463 Black Ankle Rd.
