Walking
From the Gettysburg Visitor Center, head east on Baltimore Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 15. Turn left onto Route 15 North and walk for approximately 1 mile. After crossing the bridge, turn right onto MD-26 East. Continue walking for another 2 miles until you reach the entrance of Frederick Municipal Forest on your left.
Public Transport
From the Gettysburg Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Baltimore Street. Take the 'Shuttle Bus' towards Frederick, which operates on weekends. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Frederick City Hall stop. From there, walk south on East Patrick Street for about 0.3 miles, turn left onto North Market Street, and then take a right onto MD-26 East. Continue for approximately 1 mile to reach the entrance of Frederick Municipal Forest.
