If you are starting from the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center, head east on Taneytown Road (Route 134) towards Baltimore Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with East Middle Street. Turn right onto East Middle Street and walk for about 0.2 miles. The GAR Building will be on your left at 53 E Middle St.

If you are near the Gettysburg Bus Station, take the Adams County Transit bus that goes towards Gettysburg College. Get off at the stop on Baltimore Street (near the Gettysburg National Cemetery). From there, walk east on Baltimore Street until you reach East Middle Street. Turn right and continue for about 0.2 miles to find the GAR Building at 53 E Middle St.
