Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Gettysburg, head towards the Gettysburg Visitor Center located at 1195 Baltimore Pike. Once you reach the Visitor Center, take the bus or shuttle service that operates to various attractions and locations outside of Gettysburg. Look for buses heading towards Mount Airy or Linganore Winecellars specifically. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and stops. When you reach the bus stop nearest to Linganore Winecellars, it is a short walk to the vineyard entrance.

• Public Transport

  From the Gettysburg Public Library, walk to the nearest bus stop on Baltimore Street. Board a bus heading towards Westminster or Mount Airy. You may need to transfer at a central bus station, depending on the schedule. Once you arrive in Mount Airy, follow signs or ask locals for directions to Glissans Mill Rd. It is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop to Linganore Winecellars.

• Biking

  If you're comfortable biking, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Gettysburg. Start from the center of Gettysburg and head south on Baltimore Street until you reach the intersection with Route 15. Take a left onto Route 15 and follow the road until you see signs for Mount Airy. This is approximately a 16-mile bike ride, and it will take about an hour or more depending on your pace. Ensure to check the bicycle paths for safety as you approach Mount Airy. Once in Mount Airy, follow local signs to Glissans Mill Rd.
