From the Gettysburg town square, head northeast on Baltimore St toward Lincoln Square. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with York St. Turn left onto York St, and follow it for about 0.2 miles. You will reach the Gettysburg Train Station; from here, catch the MTA bus (Route 150) to Frederick, MD. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Frederick Transit Center, exit the bus and walk east along E Patrick St for about 0.3 miles to reach the National Museum of Civil War Medicine at 48 E Patrick St.

Begin at the Gettysburg Visitor Center. Walk to the nearest bus stop located just outside the center. Board the MTA Route 150 bus towards Frederick. The journey will take about 1 hour and will take you directly to the Frederick Transit Center.
