    Starting from the Gettysburg Visitor Center, head southeast on Taneytown Road (Route 134). After about 0.5 miles, you will come to the intersection with Waterworks Road. Turn left onto Waterworks Road and continue for another 0.5 miles. You will see Sachs Covered Bridge on your right side. It is a short walk from the road to the bridge itself.

    From the Gettysburg Visitor Center, take the Gettysburg Heritage Trail heading southeast. Follow the trail for about 1 mile until you reach the traffic circle at the intersection of Taneytown Road and Waterworks Road. Exit the roundabout onto Waterworks Road and bike for another 0.5 miles. The Sachs Covered Bridge will be on your right side.

    Public Transit

    While there is no direct public transit to Sachs Covered Bridge, you can take the Adams County Transit bus from the Gettysburg Square to the nearest stop on Taneytown Road. Get off at the stop closest to Waterworks Road. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk. Head north on Waterworks Road for about 0.5 miles until you see Sachs Covered Bridge on your left.
