Car
If you're driving from the center of Laurel Highlands, start by heading northwest on US-30 W. Continue on US-30 W for approximately 18 miles. Then, take the exit for PA-711 N toward Ligonier. After about 2 miles, turn left onto Linn Run Road. Follow Linn Run Road for about 5 miles, and you will arrive at Linn Run State Park, located at 770 Linn Run Rd, Stahlstown, PA 15687. Be aware that there are no entrance fees for the park.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options to Linn Run State Park are limited. You can take a bus from various locations in Laurel Highlands to Ligonier. From Ligonier, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance (approximately 8 miles) to the park. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance since they may not run frequently, and budget for taxi or rideshare costs, which can vary.
Biking
For the adventurous, biking is a great way to reach Linn Run State Park. If you're near Ligonier, take PA-711 N, then turn left onto Linn Run Road. The total biking distance is about 8 miles. Make sure to wear a helmet, follow traffic rules, and be prepared for some inclines.
