To reach Frances Slocum State Park by car, start from any location in Lower Susquehanna Valley. Use a GPS device or a map application and input the address '565 Mt Olivet Rd, Wyoming, PA 18644'. If you are near the town of Wilkes-Barre, take I-81 S. Merge onto PA-309 S and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit for PA-415 S towards Wyoming. Continue on PA-415 S for about 5 miles until you reach Mt Olivet Rd. Turn left onto Mt Olivet Rd, and the park entrance will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, and there is no entrance fee.

Once in Wilkes-Barre, you can take a local bus (like the Luzerne County Transportation Authority) to the nearest stop for Frances Slocum State Park.
