Car
To reach Frances Slocum State Park by car, start from any location in Lower Susquehanna Valley. Use a GPS device or a map application and input the address '565 Mt Olivet Rd, Wyoming, PA 18644'. If you are near the town of Wilkes-Barre, take I-81 S. Merge onto PA-309 S and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit for PA-415 S towards Wyoming. Continue on PA-415 S for about 5 miles until you reach Mt Olivet Rd. Turn left onto Mt Olivet Rd, and the park entrance will be on your right. Parking is available on-site, and there is no entrance fee.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Lower Susquehanna Valley to Wilkes-Barre. Once in Wilkes-Barre, you can take a local bus (like the Luzerne County Transportation Authority) to the nearest stop for Frances Slocum State Park. You may need to check the bus schedules for specific routes and times, as service may vary. From the bus stop, be prepared to walk about 1.5 miles to the park entrance on Mt Olivet Rd.
