Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Main Line, Pennsylvania, start by getting onto I-476 S from your location. Follow the signs for I-76 E toward Philadelphia. Continue on I-76 E for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 344 toward Central Philadelphia and merge onto I-676 E. Follow I-676 for about 1 mile, then take the exit toward 6th St/Convention Center. Continue straight onto N 6th St, then turn right onto Market St. The Liberty Bell will be on your right at 526 Market St. There is limited street parking available, as well as nearby garages, which may charge around $15-$25 for parking.

• Public Transportation - Train

  To reach the Liberty Bell via public transportation, take the SEPTA Regional Rail from any station in Main Line (like Ardmore or Bryn Mawr) to the 69th Street Terminal. From there, transfer to the Market-Frankford Line subway toward Frankford. Get off at the 69th Street station and walk to the 69th Street Terminal to catch a bus or train toward Philadelphia. Alternatively, you can take the train directly to Suburban Station in Philadelphia. Once you arrive at Suburban Station, follow the signs to the Market St exit. Walk east on Market St for about 10 minutes until you reach the Liberty Bell at 526 Market St. A one-way fare on the train will cost around $4.75.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can also take a bus from the Main Line to Philadelphia. Check the schedules for the SEPTA bus routes that serve your area, such as Route 44 or Route 105. Board the bus and ride it to the 69th Street Terminal, where you can transfer to the Market-Frankford Line subway towards Frankford. Alight at the 69th Street stop and then follow the directions as noted above for the subway route to Suburban Station. After exiting, walk east on Market St to reach the Liberty Bell. The bus fare is approximately $2.50 each way.
