Start your journey in Main Line, Pennsylvania. Depending on your exact location in Main Line, navigate to Route 476 (the Blue Route). Head north on Route 476, then merge onto I-95 N toward New York. Follow I-95 N and then take exit 40 for US-1 N toward New Hope. Continue on US-1 N for approximately 35 miles until you reach PA-147 N in Northumberland County. Merge onto PA-147 N and follow the signs towards Milton. Once in Milton, turn onto Housels Run Rd, and continue for about 1.5 miles. The Rishel Covered Bridge will be on your left at 1515 Housels Run Rd.

To reach Rishel Covered Bridge via public transport, start at your nearest SEPTA (Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority) station and take the train to the 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby. From there, transfer to a bus that goes to the nearest train station that connects to Amtrak or Greyhound, heading towards Milton, PA. Once you arrive in Milton, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Housels Run Rd, as public transport does not directly service this area. Please check schedules and routes ahead of time, as they may vary.
