Continue on I-81 S for approximately 30 miles until you reach I-476 S (the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike). Merge onto I-476 S and continue for about 40 miles, then take exit 16 for I-76 E toward Philadelphia. Follow I-76 E for about 10 miles until you reach exit 344 toward Center City. Merge onto the Schuylkill Expressway and follow signs for I-95 N. Take exit 22 for Washington Ave toward Center City. Follow Washington Ave, and then turn left onto 8th St. Continue on 8th St until you reach Market St, then turn right. The Declaration House will be on your left at 700 Market St. Note that parking may incur costs depending on the area; public garages charge around $10-$20 for daily parking.
Public Transportation (Train)
To reach Declaration House via public transportation, take the Amtrak or SEPTA train to Philadelphia's 30th Street Station. From the station, you can take the Market-Frankford Line (blue line) towards Frankford. Get off at 8th Street station. After exiting the station, head east on Market St for about 0.2 miles. Declaration House will be on your left at 700 Market St. The cost of a one-way ticket on SEPTA is approximately $2.50.
Public Transportation (Bus)
If you're taking a bus, Greyhound and Megabus both have services to Philadelphia. Upon arrival at the bus station, you can take the SEPTA trolley or bus service to the nearest subway station.
