Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Northern Tier. Head south on US-15 S. Merge onto I-180 E toward Williamsport. Continue on I-180 E for about 30 miles. Take exit 27 to merge onto I-76 E toward Philadelphia. Stay on I-76 E for approximately 140 miles. Take exit 338A toward US-1 S. Follow signs for US-1 S and merge onto it. After about 2 miles, take the exit toward Belmont Ave. Follow Belmont Ave until you reach 2000 Belmont Mansion Dr. The Underground Railroad Museum will be on your right. Parking is available on site.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a local bus to the nearest major train station in Northern Tier. From there, board an Amtrak train heading to Philadelphia. Once you arrive at Philadelphia's 30th Street Station, transfer to the SEPTA Market-Frankford Line and head to 69th Street Terminal. At 69th Street, catch the Route 34 trolley towards the end of the line. Disembark at the Belmont station. From there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the Underground Railroad Museum at 2000 Belmont Mansion Dr. Be sure to check the schedules for Amtrak and SEPTA for the most accurate travel times.
