If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto US-30 E from your current location in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Follow US-30 E for approximately 15 miles until you reach the exit for Lancaster. Merge onto PA-72 S/Manheim Pike and continue for about 1.5 miles. Take a right onto Marietta Avenue (PA-23 W). Continue on Marietta Ave for about 2 miles, and you will see President James Buchanan's Wheatland on your left at 1120 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603. There is parking available on-site.

You can catch the #1 or #3 bus routes that head towards downtown Lancaster. Once in downtown Lancaster, transfer to the #7 bus route towards 'Marietta' and get off at the stop closest to Marietta Avenue. From there, it's a short walk (about 0.5 miles) to President James Buchanan's Wheatland located at 1120 Marietta Ave. Be sure to check the bus schedules for timing, as they may vary.
