When you reach N Charlotte Street, turn left and walk for approximately 0.2 miles. Finally, turn right onto Buchanan Avenue, and Buchanan Park will be on your left at 901 Buchanan Ave. The park is a lovely green space perfect for a leisurely stroll or a picnic.
Biking
To bike from the Lancaster City Square to Buchanan Park, start by heading west on King Street. Take a left onto N Prince Street and follow it as it turns into E Orange Street. Continue on E Orange Street until you reach N Charlotte Street, where you will make a left turn. Proceed for a few blocks, and then turn right onto Buchanan Avenue. The park will be located on your left at 901 Buchanan Ave. Biking is a great way to enjoy the sights of Lancaster while getting to the park.
Public Transport
For those using public transportation, you can take the Red Rose Transit Authority bus from the Lancaster City Square. Look for the bus route that goes toward the Lancaster General Hospital. Get off at the stop on E Orange Street and walk towards N Charlotte Street. From there, turn left and proceed to Buchanan Avenue. Turn right onto Buchanan Avenue, and you will find Buchanan Park at 901 Buchanan Ave. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the most accurate timing.
